So what is this diet all about? If your guess involves a large amount grapefruit you are correct! You may find variations in this diet but grapefruit remains the primary element. Before you eat you should consume ½ a grapefruit either in juice or the fruit itself after which you can rest and let the enzymes work for you. The program is ordinarily for two weeks but normally you will be required to stay on it for 12 days and then discontinue for a couple of days and restart the program again.

Hunger pangs will never be an issue with this program as you can eat as much as you please. The only requirement is that you follow the meal plan at the designated meal times. These limitations would be a part of any diet so it is not too challenging.
